Thai Afternoon Tea for 2014

London’s Nipa Thai has completely transformed the way Traditional Afternoon Tea is served.  The restaurant now offers unique sandwich fillings, scones and pastries, bringing the flavours of Thailand to the heart of the Capital.  With its spectacular views over Hyde Park, it’s a special treat with the affordable price tag of £22 per person.

Created by the award-winning all-lady kitchen brigade at Nipa Thai, the menu offers a scrumptious alternative to the everyday afternoon tea.

Sandwiches & Savouries include: Chilli, avocado & green papaya wrap; Thai shrimp salad on tomato bread; Bang-bang chicken on caraway bread; and Rare spiced beef with pickled cucumber on white.

Unique pastries feature: Banana & coconut rice doughnut; Milk chocolate & jasmine délice; Water chestnut, cherry & coconut tart; refreshing Mango sushi; Pineapple & lychee log; and Thai jelly shot – all served alongside a choice of fine teas.

Scones are served both traditional and mango style, with Strawberry & basil jam, or Orange & jasmine marmalade with clotted cream.

The award-winning traditional Nipa Thai restaurant is situated on the first floor of Lancaster London.  With magnificent views of Hyde Park, it is renowned as one of the best Thai restaurants in the Capital.  Nipa Thai is one of only 15 Thai restaurants in the UK to have received the prestigious “Thai Select” award from the Thai Government.  This accolade is presented to Thai restaurants proven to have achieved the highest standards of quality.

The Thai Afternoon Tea is served from 2pm until 4pm from Friday to Sunday. It is priced at £22 per person, £31 with a glass of Champagne – or for those in a celebratory mood, £32 with a glass of pink Champagne.
