RustiKo – Italian soul food in Soho

You can’t go wrong with good Italian food and an array of alcohol – brought to London’s Soho by RustiKo – we popped in for some pizza and beers and were not disappointed!

Fast establishing itself as an institution in Soho, RustiKo opened late last year (the name meaning ‘rustic’ in Italian, but also derived from the rust exposed throughout the venue – hence the typo) and prides itself on Italian soul food – ‘just like mama used to make’, with an extensive menu of wines, cocktails and hard-to-find liqueurs.

The all-day menu, prepared on site daily using seasonal produce, is furnished with weekly specials and regular changes – current signature dishes include the tender Lobster Linguine and the homemade Gnocchi.

The daily aperitivo (5-7pm) is accompanied by a refined cocktail list composed by the venues experienced mixologists, alongside small bar snacks and an enviable selection of independent Italian wines. Specialities include the RustiKo Negroni and Italian classics: Campari or Aperol Spritz. All cocktails are £6.50 during aperitivo, with a special offer of any 2 drinks on the menu and a gourmet pizza for £20!

20160615_200654Giving Londoners a true taste of an old school establishment, in a city full of chain bars and restaurants, RustiKo offers a relaxed and charming atmosphere where guests can dine and graze on daily menus, or unwind at the bar after a long day.

Situated in the heart of Old Compton Street, RustiKo embodies the vintage Soho experience. Independent, quirky, candle-lit interior, and a funky blues playlist.

RustiKo proudly brings Soho back to its motherhood with a delectable choice of fine Italian craft beers, as each month RustiKo will introduce a new brew from our European neighbours.

To celebrate its craft guest each month, RustiKo will create 3 unique gourmet pizza’s to accentuate the beers depth and bring out its character. This offering will become part of the aperitivo hour at the venue, where complementing cocktails will also be available – again changing monthly and in-line with the Beer of the Month tasting notes.

Beer and delicious home-made pizza – what more do you need?
